Free standing full length mIrrors for the home

Mirrors are a great way to quickly transform any room within the home. Whether you are looking for a small or large mirror, they can provide additional light to the room by reflecting outside light and they can also make a room look much bigger. Of course, the larger the mirror, the more effective this will be.

If you are going to introduce a large mirror into a room, you have to be careful of where you are going to place it. An example would be if you get direct sunlight through a particular window, you may not want the mirror to be directly across from the window where the sun is reflected directly at someone. If possible, you may want to place the mirror in such a way that the light is reflected to a darker area within the room or even another room if it is open planned.

For smaller rooms, it is best to place the mirror onto the biggest wall. Alternatively, you could buy a free standing mirror that can be placed into the corner of the room. By adding an object in the reflection of the mirror, you can create a sense of depth to the small room and in turn make it look much bigger.

If your bedroom does not have the wall space or floor space for a mirror, you could think about attaching a mirror the wardrobe door. This allows you to easily face the mirror in a variety of directions by opening the door. You can also have a full length mirror installed which not only provides that extra depth to the room, but also give you a full body view.

Whether you decide to opt for a wall mounted, free standing or door mirror, you can found the frames in many styles, colors and materials.
